Steel Net Covering

At Dangerous Slope Zones

Steel Net Covering

It is the basic erosion and landslide solution that can be done in all slope areas where dangerous events such as landslides and rockfalls are experienced. After the slope area is cleaned, the area is covered with twisted and galvanized steel ropes with a minimum thickness of 2.7 mm. Galvanized anchors with a minimum length of 1 meter are used on the slope surface and slope heel, 2 meters behind the slope start. Anchorages are fixed to rock surfaces with chemical epoxy.

In addition, reinforcement is made on the steel nets used in the covering, with a minimum 10 mm thick steel wire. With this system, soil or rock areas that can move either stay in the shortest distance or descend to the bottom of the slope in a controlled manner.

After the area is examined, the necessary covering method is determined and it is designed specifically for each area.

Mira creates safe areas by covering the rocks and stones that are in danger of falling with a steel net.
