Temporary Lifelines
Temporary lifelines may be preferred for individual jobs where there is a danger of falling but work will not.
Temporary lifelines are generally made of a synthetic material. However, steel wire systems are also available.
Temporary lifelines are convenient to be installed and dismantled by the end user.
Temporary lifelines to be used in the horizontal plane must comply with EN 795 TYPE B-C standards.
Temporary lifelines to be used vertically must have EN 353-2 standards.
Since synthetic lifelines are adversely affected by weather conditions (rain, snow, cold, sun, etc.), they should not be preferred for long-term use.
